📋 Mission Statement
The Myrtle Childress Foundation exists to improve the quality of life in Burnet, Texas and wherever else Myrtle sees fit. We believe in community, innovation, the Lord, and casseroles. We are guided by the principle that even small acts of giving — whether $25 for hymnals or mailing someone the capital of France — can make a meaningful difference.
The Foundation does not have paid staff at this time. All administrative work is performed by Myrtle (Board Chair) and sometimes Randy (Board Secretary, a title he did not know he had until last month).

Grants are not guaranteed. The Foundation reserves the right to deny any application for any reason including but not limited to: Myrtle disagreeing with it, Randy disagreeing with it, or the applicant not being from Burnet.
